    Re: Hid Fog Lights

Quick question reguarding HID Fog Light swap. Would it be possible to use the Xenon HID OEM D1S Projector Shroud to replace the oem Fog Light Shroud, with a universal HID kit like one from http://www.vvme.com/product/detail-20023.html? Does anyone think this is possible with little modification?

Almost anything can be done with a "little" money and a "little" modification. For me a little modification involves wiring and circuit boards, for others with the skill and tools a little modification can mean body work and fabrication (things that are way beyond my meager talents). So it may be possible with a little modification.

    Re: Hid Fog Lights

I plan on replacing my fogs with the projector fogs from the pre-facelift and modifying the bracket to fit those fogs but my problem is that I only found one guy on ebay selling them, a store called vag-com but they are in Hong Kong and I'm a little weary about ordering from Hong Kong, has anyone ever order from these guys?

    Re: Hid Fog Lights

sorry to highjack your thread buddy, but i try to install the HID lights in my car today... i don't see any way of PLUG-n-Play... it seems like i HAVE to drill a hole on the cover of the fog housing..

    Re: Hid Fog Lights

You do have to drill a hole in the cover of the fog housing, it's the only way to do it.
