Um Well no I had the BMW as a fun summer car--sliding sideways-- something not possible with Quattro unless you have over 500HP haha, but then I inherited a 98 A4 1.8TQM that I did a APR Chip and EXH, coilovers, RS6 wheels, etc etc so Im happy, but get this I ended up selling that S4 for a measly $5500, bought it for 7600 and dumped 4Gs into it, WEAK SAUCE.

That sucks man! I'm actually in the market for another S4. I would of TOTALLY boughten yours! Sorry you took such a loss on it. That's really lame. Why did you sell it though if you knew you were going to loose so much on it? A4's are nice, but no where near as nice or quick as a UrS4.

looking HOT i'm extreamly jelous because i really wanted to buy a avant but didnt have the money cause they have such HIGH asking prices so i bought my 93 cause it was a too good of a deal to pass up when i was told about the car

i know. i would REALLY love to own a avant though but i do have this nice sedan to hold me over lowering the car is towards the bottom of the list of mods because the ride height doesnt really bother me since it doesnt have that allroad suspension on it. the 1st major mod that i want to do is big blacks, i thought about going with big reds but they stand out too much for me and i see alot of UrS peeps having big reds.

that is some clean rides. Ive never really been a fan of large cars but I will be looking soon for a URS4 because its the only way to get an Inline-5 in decent shape without doing a swap. Could you guys post some random ones with aftermarket wheels and some mods thanks.

afther a while i found this car and i was in love

when i went to buy it i understod the owner that it was a regular s4 but when i arrived i saw that wasnt the case

so the car is s4 limited edition it was bougt in late 92 by that company and it was sold to its first owner in early 94 . the car has larger turbo and remap and it claims to have 300 bhp .
last owner repainted it from black to purple blue and fitted it with this tsw 18" wheels i hope you like the car

Welcome.

Do a search for "uploading pics", but basically you just need to host them on the web someplace first like your Audizine Gallery or a site like Photobucket. Then it's simply a matter of copying and pasting.

You had to ask!!! short answer is S4 92-94 S6 95 and 95.5.. Canadian 96 and 97 also!

The long answer!

Audi's S-cars started with the '91 200q20v (my old avant) turbo charged 2.2L 20v 5 cylinder (3B). producing 217hp/228lbs stock with a 0-60 of 6.5 sec and top speed 150mph. There were about 1000 sedans and a 300 avant brought to the USA so they are rare! $40k+ was a little much at the time

Then in 1992 Audi changed not only the name but the cars were redesigned and received the name S4 the motor became the AAN motor it no longer had the distributer and produced 228hp/258lbs everything else was the same essentially.
The 1992 S4 had some gadgets from the 200 that the 93-95.5 did not get...like the trip computer and stiffer suspension.

The 1993 S4 had minor cosmetic changes like moving the badge from Right to left and adding quattro.


The 1994 S4 received rear quarter antanas (all the others had hidden antenas)

then in 1995 S6 something crazy happened the headrests were no longer the kind you could see through and they RENAMED THE CAR S6 duh. The reason for that was so the numbers would match the renamed Audi A6 (formerly the100)


THE 1995.5 S6 also came as an AVANT!!!!!


The 1995.5 Had different wheels and was named the .5 so it did not need the OBDII compliance.

1997 Canada only

And why do we love these cars?
The quick answer: because they have a ton of potential! For $600 my car was chipped and that added about 80hp and took the torque from 258lbs to near 350lbs.

The total number of S4/S6's for the 5 model years brought to the US was probably about 5000. Rare as they are they still dominate most other cars in the fast lane, off the line and you can easily fit 5 adults and luggage. To me it truely is a car that compromises very well!

Jimmy, and Ken F meet Keith Maddock as he had some issues while at TWS and here is an update on Keith.
No longer doing traction control engeneering for TRW. In Germany he lived 20 kilometers from the RING and drove about 10000 miles on it!
He got his MBA from U of M and is right now in the Suiss Alps for an internship.
He will start work for Credit Suiss in New York once he returns. He has a Spec Miata and 01 S8
The green S6 Avant above was also his. He sold it to someone in New Orleans (after Katrine)

Here is my 93 avant urs4. s6 front bumper and s6 rear optic. Open filter, 1.9 bar wastegate spring fron 034 and Hohenester 290 chip.

Love my car. And have a few more plans for it. :)

Damn man. You have that thing shining! Did you do a full paint correction polish and wax? Looks great. Gives me inspiration. Mine was resprayed sometime ago but it is showing age. Need to tend to it.

thanks buddy, no thats stock paint as far as i know, i did just wax it before the pics but no other work was done. i was surprissed how good the paint was when i bought it too.
