use plasti-dip not spray paint (home depot/lowes in spray paint isle), or search around here for dtm part number and order off geniuneaudiparts for ~170ish, lot cheaper then ECS, I don't have the part number handy since I'm at work.

I find it hilarious that simply changing/adding black trim to a grille is considered "murdering" it. It's just black trim for cryin' out loud. And for those that got the titanium package, I say we should call it the "Murder Package" lolz

i could be wrong but it looks like you would have to reuse your existing audi rings on that FK grille.

Their are notches where it looks like the oem rings snap into so it seems you are correct.

    Re: murder grill

I wish there was a company that made a grille that has the same pattern as the base oem grille or the RS4 grille, but with nothing in the center, no rings, no license plate bracket. Nothing. Just one big mesh grille. Simple.

This grill comes in badged or non-badged, you reuse your stock audi rings on it, if you get it nonbadged its a big mesh grill

yea you either have to run the euro plate or leave it but there is a recess for the euro plate. It doesn't look that bad w/o the euro plate but u can tell something is supposed to go there since its got the recess.

Look...You can take it out w/o taking the bumper off...The way is breaking it...
So, you've got to take the bymper off...Its a real pain in the ass...
So try and do also other jobs on your headlights so as not to think about it so much....

This car has a lot of annoying stuff to do if you want to take something out...
The bumper is nothing compared to having to take off the rear seats...Trust me on this one....

They are semislicks...They are very very good on a little wet, better than radial tires, but only bad on flood...But when you are running over 225s, you dont run in the heavy rain, do ya...?
    Also road legal

You are right. I've got one. But not cause of a TDi...But because my A4 B7 is a 1.8T 20vt Quattro.
Here in Greece was sold both with the tfsi, and with the 1.8T engine.

And I picked the 1.8T. Not because of the money...But because of other evil thoughts...

pic of car + sister please. j/k [:P]

so you didn't mention whether you have S-line or not...

But you can go with for non s-line:
    1) modifying a blacked s-line grille to fit your non s-line
    2) buy from ETAtuning.com

    S-line:
    1) ecstuning.com

Painting yourself might be the cheapest route... but as the price goes down the quality can go down as well

    welcome to the forum...

that license plate thing can easily be replaced by what is called a 'filler plate'

search it.. you can throw one on your car for like $100 or so
