I wouldn't cheap out on brakes in that condition. Just keep on looking for used bbk kits that look almost brand new.

Meh, waste of time IMO. At what they are probably being asked for, you'd be better off just picking up some B5 S4 brakes instead of trying to run those..

p.s. - You're practically never going to find carriers for these brakes to fit on your a4 upright hubs too.

p.p.s - To answer your question of what I would pay for those; No more than $100 for both, as they'll need a complete rebuild, new carriers, new rotors, lines, etc.

Carriers are made by ECS, Purems and bira.org
S4 brakes don't work on A4. you need new uprights to run s4. Please don't post missinformation.

Are you talking about the spindle/knuckle? And on an S4 they're aluminum instead of steel like the A4's right?

    Not misinformation buddy.

S4 brakes front and rear on my now totalled A4.

You'd need 2.8 Axles, and S4 uprights because the caliper mount points are spaced differently, if you can get those cheap then they're well worth it, I got calipers and uprights for cheap.

I may have my set for sale if I find a salvage S4 over an A4 since I wont need mine.

How is that not exactly what I put... It is misinformation you cant get carriers for Boxter calipers, and that B5 S4 don't bolt right up
