    Re: Wheel spacer question

I could be wrong...but I think you need to be around the 35mm offset range to clear.

My wheels are 35mm offset and I clear them only by like 2 mm

    Re: Wheel spacer question

i had some usp reps that were 18x8 et35 and did not clear. all reps are not created equal. the spoke angle has a lot to do with it. i ended up getting new reps at 18x8.5 et30 and have about 4 mm clearance if not 5mm.

    Re: Wheel spacer question

As mentioned, not all reps have same spoke angle. My version 1 VMR reps are et42, and I run 8mm spacers to clear 332 Stoptechs, which are similar to B5 S4 caliper size.

would 10mm spacers make the wheel stick out further than the fender

    Re: Wheel spacer question

an et 35 is pretty much flush with the fender (7.5 or 8 inch wide) depending on the width of the wheel

Correct, not all reps have same spoke design. Our V.2 reps clear the B5S4 calipers no problem. 8.5" wide with a +38 offset.

7.5 or 8" wide wheel with ET35 is not "pretty much flush with the fender". However a 8.5" wide ET35 wheel is flush with the fender.

Offset is secondary. OEM 17x7.5 ET45 wheels easily clear the B5 S4 brake setup. The spoke/wheel design is crucial.

+32 could be a possibility with some fender modifications, and no way +27 would work on a 245.

    Re: Wheel spacer question

I'm running 8mm spacers up front and no spacers on the rear with my ADR M-classics. The ET on the ADR's are 35. The 8mm are the lowest I can go for the to clear my brakes. I'm also running 245-35-19 Pirelli's on 19X8 rims. I'll eventually go down to 235 when the current ones start to bald.

I went with H&R spacers w/o the lip.

I dont have any recommendations to the size of a spacer but i do recommend you use high quality hub centric spacer such as H&R or Rouge Engineering.
