I'd avoid ECS like the plague, myself. Their customer service is the shits and their delivery times/status is worse. You've been warned.

For such common replacements, I'd look at sourcing the rotors, pads and lines from a place like tirerack.com. Tough to beat their prices, speed and service.

Yes, you'll need wear sensors else you'll get a persistent brake pad wear indicator in the DIS. Tirerack has it narrowed down nicely, once you input your vehicle's specifics.

You may want to at least consider an S4 braking upgrade, but that's just my two cents. You are, after all, already getting in there and such so why not put on better parts?

As for a DIY, this one at a4mods (courtesy of Martini... ) should do nicely. If not, I'm sure an OG 'round here will be quick to correct me.

If the pads you want do not come with a sensor, simply cut the harness on your old pads at the pad material, splice the two wires together and plug it back into the harness. Display fixed

I see the OP is in PA.

It could be an issue with cross-border shipments.

A really good friend of mine with an 02 1.8tqm has been waiting WEEKS for his clutch.

    That is all.

AutoZone, PartSource, Auto Parts Plus... and I imagine Stateside Pep Boys will rent out the brake piston tool set... but for myself I'll purchase a set.

In Martini's a4mod DIY it looks like the Bleed Order is incorrect...
"(Start with the passenger rear, then move to drivers rear, then to passenger, then to driver) The order is important because you want to start with the farthest from the master cylinder."

That is how typical cars bleed the brake system, but I have seen on many other posts here that you Bleed the Brakes in reverse for our Audi's.
Can someone with more Audi Brake Bleeding experience chime in???

go to ate-na.com and get part number for rotors.
Tire Rack has ATE PremiumOne front rotors in stock but not on the site.
Tire Rack service is beyond outstanding.

Hey, not that I know for sure (though someone will surely chime in) I found this on Stoptech's site, amidst their white papers. Considering all the R&D they've done with our cars among others I'm sure they'd drop the hint if one car make was special. Clicky click

    Bleeding Process
    1. Begin at the corner furthest from the driver and proceed in order toward the driver. (Right rear, left rear, right front, left front.) While the actual sequence is not critical to the bleed performance it is easy to remember the sequence as the farthest to the closest. This will also allow the system to be bled in such a way as to minimize the amount of potential cross-contamination between the new and old fluid.
