So I ordered a 6000K conversion kit from VVME's website, shipping was fast and everything works, but they sent me a 4300K bulb and a 6000K bulb.

I emailed them and havent gotten a response back. I'd rather avoid the hassle of bitching at them via email for a week before having them tell me to pay shipping for them to send me a new bulb, so I am contemplating just buying 2 new 6000K bulbs from their website for $10 more.

Is there any other option for me? anyone around here have a 6000K vvme bulb or 2 laying around?

Has life not taught you there is no "Right Now" solution to many matters. The link showed you what that individual did with the situation. I posted in that thread and will give you the same advice if you want to "Right Now" solution. Go to a store and buy some H7 HID bulbs of whatever temp you want. That seems like the only "Right Now" solution. Or you can be patient and dispute with the original seller. Either way, you are going to have to pay extra.

    Re: VVME HID's

I ordered H7, 6000K... I have read extensively about people trying to get in touch with them for replacement parts, etc. but I think it'll be easier for me to just buy a replacement set of 6000K bulbs, I just wanted to see if maybe someone here had a set?

Just to add to the flow of VME info. My 4300k kit has been installed since November. Very happy with the performance until last week when the passenger side went out. Did a little troubleshooting tonight and discovered the ballast isn't functioning. Sent an email requesting a RA#. We'll see what their response is.

I have a set of Phillips that I bought from akinboy which I'm putting in Depo projector housings. I'm not expecting much from VVME. I'll likely put the single in my Ducati.

Thats not true, not only do none of the auto parts stores around here carry HID bulbs, the VVME bulbs are kit specific, IE the are wired right to the ballast, which requires a ballast specific wired bulbs

Did you pay via paypal? Try to open a dispute.

not even worth it to me, yea i paid viz paypal, but i just turned around and bought two new bulbs from somebody else on ebay for 23 shipped.
If i wouldve kept trying to get in touch with them the final result would be me paying 35 dollars for them to ship me new stuff (weeks later)

I have three ballasts from Vvme, two of which are malfunctioning. Now I'm looking for another replacement, or take it apart, check for any errors in the wiring.

bull shit!!!! how do you know DDM is lifetime warranty.... every brand promise to you the lifetime warranty, will you believe that????

    such a stupid idiot.....

I'm not saying that DDM doesn't have a good product but once you have tried the other HID lights i think you would find that for a few bucks more the VVME kits are worth it, thats just my personal opinion. The reason I like them is VVME kits are cheap, reliable, and almost identical to the factory HID on the tractors and they are not blue like other kits.

why dont you contact their US distributor in california and exchange the 43k bulb to 6k bulb.... so that you dont need to pay for the shipping.....

this is what i found their US location:

So did you join yesterday just to search up VVME and try and make us feel good about them? Because they suck. I have first hand experience with 3 ballasts of theirs that didn't work right out of the box and then try and rip you off to buy another set instead of sending you a working set that you paid for.

And they aren't blue like other kits? that all depends on what Kelvin rating you get now isn't it... 6000k - 8000k is going to be blue no matter what company you go with.

no, not because they suck... any brands will face some complains about their products even some OEM bulbs.... no one can promise they have none defective stuff...

lol................dude... i am so curious, why did you go on the third vvme hid ballasts even when you encountered 2 defective ones already..........

and one more thing, as i heard from my friends and my own experience, they never ask customers to order another set before they promise send you a working set ....
Unfortunately when you have had to return a number of products for warranty and had to pay for shipping. Most recently it was a cab cover by Rampage. Sometimes the shipping almost made it not worth it to return ( depends on different locations).

of course i am very clear the temperature is conventionally stated in units of absolute temperature, kelvin (K). what i mean vvme hid are not blue is by comparing the same color tempreture... cos i know the vvme 43k hid is the same as ddm 45k..( just name different color tempreture ,,, as to how do they name the color tempreture i dont know)
but the same color tempreture with different lights output..... ddm is a little more blueish tint than vvme.....

Some people own more than one car buddy. Which equals one order of 3 kits where half the ballasts worked, and to me that means the company sucks ass

I concur completely. I have gotten about 12 kits from DDM and none of them have given me an issue yet. My VVME issue was about 4 or 5 years ago
