just got my led drl's in from some company who ships out of china, they were extra cheap, about 10$ with shipping

they're brighter than the pictures show. i've got some 25 watt 10 ohm resistors i got from fry's for a buck a piece that i need to wire up to get rid of the bulb out warning. they say flame proof, but have no heatsink. should i try to find one to be safe? or just mount them where they wont touch anything that'll melt?

also does any body know what wires i have to tap on the big harness for the lights? i know the ones inside are yellow and brown. and i do have a bently manual that covers 02 - 06 a4s

damn it. i guess i got the wrong resistors, does anybody have led drls with the right resistor that works? 10 ohm 25 watt didnt do it.

Load equalizers is what you need for LED DRL's. They resolve the blub out warning but run really hot. I've tried them out and it works but I didn't want to hide them inside the housing as it could melt whatever it touches.

they just look like the resistors i have, but with a wiring harness and heat sink. do you know what the wattage and ohms of the one you go? are you still using them/have them? i'd rather do my resistor route, because frys has them for a buck a pop.

    Re: LED DRL's!!

I have either 3 or 6 OHM/50 Watt load eq. I still have them but I'm not using them. I tried using resistors but at those specs of the load eq, the resisor size is pretty big.

i think i'll try those, i have my resistors set up where they wont touch anything. they do get hot and are pretty big, thanks man
