strange cluster info disappearing randomly

sometimes the radio info blinks out of the display on the dash. It comes back if i press my knee against the side of the center column by the radio. Could it be a loose connection?

Is that the only way you get it to come back? Mine blinks off randomly for a split second but always returns. It's a pretty common issue with the symphony radio
