    Blinking parking brake light?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Has anyone had their parking brake light flashing off and on and when you step on the brakes you hear the intrument cluster make the "something is wrong" tone?

Someone said I might be low on brake fluid?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

well why dont you pop the hood and check the brake fluid? takes literally 10 seconds. i was going to say a short between your ebrake and brake pedal.

lol.., not everyone knows how to pop the hood

a4turrrrrbooo22, is it that important to end every few words with a exclamation mark?[sarcastic].

OP, yes you are low on brake fluid, my car does it when i corner extremely hard, it beeps, blinks a few seconds then goes back out when the car is straight again... it doesnt do it very often but if im really pushing it.. i checked the first time and added a bit but its in the lines so i dont worry about it when it does it now, ive noticed its most common in a double curve..

I was at work and didn't have access to my car, otherwise I would have checked. It did turn out to be the brake fluid though. Thanks for the help.

I've had mine come on a few times when there was plenty of fluid. I heard the sensor can get stuck so i just remove the screen under the cap and it usually fixes it.
