    That is awesome! I always thought the AR would be a great car for anywhere that had some dirt and badly paved roads, but that just shows it can perform in the true off road element as well!

    sweet pics! Has water ever crept in through the doors/firewall? I wonder what the fording depth for the AR is?

    i was in about 18-20 inches and no water came in. could feel it on the floorboard hittin the underneath. It was sweet.

    The first Avant I ever rode in was an Allroad out in Colorado. Ever since then I've always wanted one.

    Then I saw one late last year with the 2.7T and twin GT28RS turbos

    The car is now done and in Cali last I heard. I think the power numbers were in the 600-700s on 93octane.

    allroads are the shit man! the best part is the fact that once you are back on pavement you can squat her down low and have a great performer.

    nice pics... i wish i had a pic of mine when i went through this one creek, had opposite wheels in air.. it was awesome. front driver and rear passenger was in air but couldnt take pics cause it was in water. they are fun offroad i never expected it to be this good. just hate airbags.

    Very Nice!! I love the color too. The dealer I bought my Avant from had an 05 A4 Avant and an Allroad sitting out front today as I drove by. Didn't see the prices tough.
    It's an Avant Thing...

    That would be one of the dumbest decisions ever, why would you tune a car on gas that you would not have access to...
