    ok, so i'm getting wheels in this week for my A6, and its lowered so i was worried about rubbing, the wheels are 18x9 all around, and what do you think i should use? with 18x9 235-40-18 or 225-40-18??? thanks guys.

    18 would USUALLY fit okay with a 225/40. I'm getting a new set soon (18 x 8.5) and tirerack recommended 235/40/18. So I would only imagine that a 18 x 9 should go at least 235. I think the 225 would be a stretch for a 9" wide wheel.

    well its is kind of a stretch, and i want a small stretch, but you think 225 on 9" wide would be ok without rubbing? thanks

    235/40-18 and 245/40-18 are the only sizes we recommend. The 225 would have to be XL to carry enough load to used safely.

    well they are XL, but do you guys think 235 will rub?

    If you are lowered more than 1.5" then the 235 may rub if the spring is fully compressed. Maybe someone has some firsthand experience ?

    well i have the eibachs, and its 1.4 in the front and 1.2 in the back, so i should be ok?
