Anyone else's door squeak when opening?

I just bought an B7 A4 (35K miles), and noticed my driver's side door squeaks. I was going to simply lube up the hinges, but noticed that it's not the hinge that is squeaking, it's the outside of the door hitting the front fender!

After closer inspection of the gaps around the door, it is evident that the door is "sagging". The passenger side door is also sagging, but hasn't made noises - yet.

Anyone else experience this? Maybe this is a known issue?

Maybe the previous owner was overweight had to hang onto the doors to get in. Or worse.......maybe they had kids that screwed it up. Who knows what previous owners are capable of? Have a warranty?

No problems here. 25,500 miles so far.

Re: Anyone else's door squeak when opening?

I have had some experience with this: about a year ago i was getting out of my car and it was very windy and when i opened the door, the wind took hold of the door and seemed to whip it open. When i got back in the car i noticed the door shut a bit funny and it felt like it rubbed slightly ( barely noticeably) and it bothered the hell out of me. So on my next visit to the stealership they saw that it was rubbing slightly and adjusted it, however, it still looks as if the door may be sagging slightly (I'm guessing to a bent hinge) however, there is no rubbing at all. Hope this helps

I initially thought the same thing. However, when you check both seems, you can see both doors are sagging. (the gap goes from large to small on the left, and small to large on the right). Both sides are this way.

Previous owner wasn't overweight, and no evidence of any major accidents. It's still under warranty so, to the dealership I go....I hate it there.

I hear ya, however I drove 11 hours getting it back here and didn't notice it until using it for a week.
