    Some newbie questions...

    Hi,

    1. Am I not supposed to drive over 4K RPM or am I not supposed to drive over 60mph to break in the S4?

    2. When am I supposed to get the first oil change? I bought the Audi care and wondering if Audi care covers all oil changes?

    3. Do you spray some kind of protectant over the Napa Leather?

    Thank you...

    John

    1. If you're a manual, keep it under 4K or 5K. Don't break 100 mph. Just go easy on it.

    2. 5K miles. Yes, it's covered. I would recommend getting some higher quality oil. Motul, Lubro-Moly, Elf, AMS. One of those should suffice, pick one and stick with it. Also, make sure you have the VW 502.00 certification, which ever oil you choose.

    3. You can condition the leather. PM surfsidedetail on what product to use. Also check the detail forum.

Is the oil change really covered? I don't think that any maintenance is covered on my 2008. Anyways, I changed my oil out at 1,500 miles. Gonna do it again at 5k.

I sprayed no protectant over my leather. I am using zymol leather cleaner and conditioner when necessary.

Can't go wrong with Zymol......been using it myself for years on all my cars. It's the only thing that touches my leather.

Yep, 5K is covered, it's the subsequent ones that are covered with Audi-Care. The first one's free, but the others will cost ya ;) Ed, I'm roughly 99% sure about this one.

Zymol is what you told me gets the wrinkles out, right?

I don't anything is gonna be magic in getting your wrinkles out. I just know that keeping the leather supple and moisturized helps prevent wrinkles from forming.

Here are a few shots of the bolsters:

    Zymol Treat:

    Zymol Cleaner:

    Zymol Conditioner:

I imagine it's the first or third one. I just don't want to buy the wrong one.
