Euro steering wheel & RS4 exhaust on S4?

2 questions, please...

1) I really LOVE the euro steering wheel (aluminum, flat bottom) and just saw Raudi's in another thread... I was wondering if that's hard to replace? What's your opinion about not having an airbag anymore since you replace your OEM one with the Euro version?

2) I also LOVE the RS4 exhausts... Do you know if I could replace the b7 S4 ones with the RS4 ones? The S4 ones look a bit too slim to me....

My Euro wheel is a plug and play with your car as far as the airbag goes. You're gonna lose some of the steering wheel functions but the airbag will work with your car. The wheel and airbag sell for around $1,300.

I wouldn't go to the place that I got mine from. It was one lie after another with this company. Finally, I just left a message on their vm stating that I was disputing the entire transaction. I got what I needed in the end but it was a headache.

Go to GMG in Orange County, CA. They ain't cheap, but no b.s from them and that's priceless.

RAudi, thank you! The GMG one does not have airbag...but the price is not bad. I wonder if I should sacrify my safety for it...very tempted though.

How difficult do you think it is to install it? Will my local tuning shop be able to do this or does it require a very knowledge person since airbag is involved?

check, www.genuinevwaudiparts.com which is also the parts dept @ Miramar VW/Audi in SD/Ca. Craig is the parts Mgr and can get everything Audi. I priced theTT wheel w/ airbag (I have a tip & needed the paddles) for $600 & change. If you want RS4 Mufflers, PM me I was just about to list my GMG mufflers f/s. They have been reshaped to fit a B7 S4, just the mufflers & S ends. Check my gallery for installed pics when they were on my car.

Hi John,

I got mine from (sent to to you via pm) and I installed it myself. Since I installed it into a B6 (1 stage airbag system), and the euro wheel carries a 2 stage airbag system, I had to splice into the wires. I wired the cars airbag wires to the stage 2 of the Euro steering wheel airbag. Did it work? I don't know but I reset the light and it never came back on.

As far as installing the wheel, a monkey could do it.

ngng, I mainly use the volume/track (channel) function on the wheel...
