TJ & OT: Is your shop Solar Reflections Performance and how familiar are you with the Evolution Racewerk SMICs for the B5-S4s ? I tried to call your shop a few weeks back but the person I spoke with has no clue to what these SMICs are ? TIA.

Dont know what TJ & OT mean haha but yeah our shop is Solar Reflections Performance. To be honest, I've never sold any ER Sidemount so I am unfamiliar with those but if they are as great as their Competition and Sport front mounts which they most likely are, I would say it would be a great upgrade. I know ER doesn't make a product unless there is room for improvement.

Sorry too if you talked to someone at our shop who was unfamiliar with ER. I run the Euro side so if I'm not there most likely they wont have an answer. PM me if you have any other questions about ER. They are top notch though

yup! that motor was junk and it was pretty nice out, only took about 2 hours. When I installed the new stuff I had it in the garage.

For me, it all comes down to dealer support and mostly the quality of workmanship and the installation. I am very particular when it comes to my car and I hate the "unexpected". Here in the PNW, Matrix Intergrated in Portland is well known and has great experience with the AWE ICs, but I will like to try out the ER ICs if I can find an ER dealer that is on par with MI. I am not saying you/SRP are not as good as MI, just that I am very ignorant and unfamiliar with your shop.

I will indeed like to talk to you further about this. I appreciate your honesty and thank you for answering my post. I will try to call you on Monday.

I know how you feel, I was/ am exactly the way your are. Thats why I let nobody but myself touch my car. Feel free to swing by our shop to hangout or go to lunch with us, we constantly take customers with us to lunch so we can all eat when its becoming a long day at the shop. I dont want to talk poorly about AWE's SMICs but my neighbor has a b5 s4 which is stgIII and he hated his experience w/ them, he's very car savvy and did the entire stgIII install on his own.

So all I can say is stop by sometime meet us/ me/ others that stop by the shop and hangout. Maybe if you tell me when you might come by I'll get oregonaudi-Nick, Sleepy1-Jeff, or JustQuaff-Sean some other Audi owners who I'm now great friends w/ after working on their cars will have time to swing by too. As far as Matrix, I've heard great things about them and if you continue to do business with them no hard feelings, I see it as great dedication. I'll ttyl if you're going to the Burien meet this upcoming weekend look for all our cars, we'll be showing with TKO Motorwerks.

Yea, those are the wheels that came with the car. Didnt like the color of them, really lite wheels tho! Should have kept them for track wheels.

FWIW, we've always been impressed with AWE's SMIC's and their fitment (as well as all of their other products). If you add an external/aftermarket oil cooler kit, you will need to trim the SMIC ducting.

Hey sorry, I've been slammed, and our shop is closed right now during this week including saturday due to the Burien meet. PM me if you have any questions that you need answered, I check those normally every few hours, I've just been slammed with work and installs for my car and friends again for Burien...
