New Clutch Time, Where did you get the Best deal?

So I guess the slave cylinder is not leaking, which leads me to assume that the clutch is finally done and cannot be self-adjusted any further.
What are you guys paying for a clutch job?
Where did you get your clutch?

    Yes i searched, not successfully

Finally, what would you guys go with if money is a large concern but more importantly there is very little chance that Im ever gonna go past bolt-on upgrades. Turbo upgrades would be doubtful. Im thinking I need a relatively stock pressure plate and maybe an RS4 disc.
I'd much rather resurface the Flywheel than Have to buy a new one.

Southbend will resurface your flywheel for free if you buy any of their clutches. Only problem is you can't get a discount on any of their clutches. What they sell on them for on their website is what you have to pay. Anyway, shoot me a PM if you want some prices.

If you never plan to go stage 3 I would go for the RS4 clutch, no doubt about it. Most other stuff would be overkill and not have the easy stock feel as the RS4. Get it from VAST becuase they rock. Ask The Jerbel, he can get it for you and he rocks too! haha

Re: New Clutch Time, Where did you get the Best deal?

The RS4 should be perfect for your setup. Im gonna be stage 2 pretty soon and thats as far as i plan on going, so i went with the rs4 as well. I just put it in today, but it started raining before i could get everything buttoned up. Hopefully itll be back on the road tomorrow and ill get to see how it feels compared to stock.

Talk to Jordan(The_Jerbel on here) and hell hook you up with an awesome deal on the rs4 clutch. Great seller with awesome customer service...you wont be disappointed.

Ok Im gonna PM the_jerbel about the clutch.
How much are you guys getting charged for your clutch install?
Its gonna cost alot to get it towed somewhere else to get the clutch done, but if its worth it, I might have to.

So I guess im wrong, but I thought that the RS4 pressure plate was the same as the regular s4 just the pressure plate was different...
I am shopping around looking at different places and I was gonna go with an RS4 disc with a stock pressure plate, I am not going over stage 2 so I think upgraded Pressure plates might be overkill.

    Almost never.
I have once in a year and a half because I was so afraid of pushing the clutch.
Are the stock PP and the RS4 PP the same? Or is just the disc different?

The disk is the same on the OEM S4 and RS4. The PP is different.
