Get off my Avant!!!

Finally found the Avant I have been looking for. Its a 99.5 emerald green 1.8t, completely stock. Picked up this bitch today and drive her home from NJ. The interior is black with the sport cloth and immaculate, wish I could say the same for the exterior although after a good wash and buff it should look 50% better although some major scratches will stay. Best part about the car is I got it for a steal and it runs like a champ with only 53000 miles so I would expect so. Anyway I am so happy I found a nice one and I am now a proud owner. 2 pics until its wash and detail tomorrow. Cant wait to start modding!!!

Its a manual because I roll no other. I deff dig the green becasue not many green avants. I was looking at a blue one but to many people around me have that color mainly poopie and well, I didn't want to copy :p. I was shocked that it had only 53k one owner granny driven as a seccond car. It runs suuupper clean and makes all the right sounds. I am not tooo awfully worried about the t-belt yet but I will get it done right after inspection and registration. Then its off to simple mods and eventually bigger mods such a turbo but with 53k I have allot more time than I thought I would. Ill get some clean pics along with the interior tomorrow.

Sweet find! Low miles, great shape, and a manual trans...wow! Although you called it "Emerald Green", I believe it's actually Cactus. Cactus Green Mica in fact.

Ya its cactus green I looked in the manual but it was advertised at emerald so thats just want I called it. Ok got to go back out and stare at my car for a lil while longer while I got some sun left.

thats awesome man! great find. Granny driven cars are the best. A drop and some wheels and you would have a pretty slick ride. I just put on those s4 sides i picked up off you today. Needs a little finished to get it to fit nice though.

I got a stock sport suspension of my avant you can have for $100. its all assembled with the top mounts and stuff.

Ha that kind of reminds me of something that i do. whenever i park my car in front of my house or a store, i always turn around to look at it sitting there a couple of times before i go inside.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the great comments. I guess it pays to wait for the right car. I am soo happy becasue I drove all the way home with no problems as compared to my previous audi in which could not go down the street without something preparing to break. For now I am just going to get this baby inspected and then a good detail before I start to mod. Prob on my way to awe tuning to pick up a boost gauge tomorrow. I figured I wouldn't spare and junk with this car and just buy the right stuff to being with so I don't have to replace it later on.

Unfortunately I'm not starting anything for a month until the garage is done and I can park in there. My father is having it re cemented and epoxied so total process is going to take some time so shes going to have to sit outside for a little while :(.

I had my car for maybe 8 months now, and just finished my stage 1+ couple weeks ago. Other than my initial window tints, subwoofers, and maintanace jobs she was completely stock. Next step is ecodes and HID then I will sit on that for a while till I have turbo set up money.

Oh, and your warning of looking at smaller turbos did not work out too well. After searching and asking questions I am almost decided on what turbo set up to aim for. BAT

O ya I knew that I was not going anything lower than a gt28 but prob a 2871r. We will see when that time comes for now its going to me many weeks of maintenance just to make sure everything is where it needs to be. Took a look in the cap before I bought it and looks to be almost 100% sludge free but cant tell till I take off the valve cover completely.
