curious to this as well. Mine stopped working last week. They go half way up and then give up. My car just rolled over 50k so no warranty, and i talked to my friend (previous owner of the car) and he said he had taken it in for that same problem around 35k and they had covered it under warranty.

Anyone had experience fixing this problem on their own? I might just take it to one of the local euro shops.
