    Normal height vs Droped

Not sure what to choose. I'm getting tired of the car being hit from under. Like you go to the restaurant with your girlfriend and every body on terrace stare's at you when your car goes SCRACH while entering parking. The thing is i never drived the car normal. I bought the s droped. My question is, did you feel a big difference between normal and droped, performance wise? I don't remember the look at normal also. We have bad roads over here in quebec. What would you do? Thank's guys.

Yeah i know what you saying but i'm like zigzag on roads to spare holes and bumps. Peoples are like what the f..k is the quatro for? There's some roads that simply nothing to do but slow down over bomps while others waiting for you in the back. I think i'm too low.

I may be raising my coilovers a little bit because I'm sick of it too. Are your CO's adjustable? I'm sure there's a happy medium between where you are and stock height

Car looks good. I would raise it just to feel better about speed bumps and potholes. I could see how that would get annoying. It will still look dropped too. Can't miss that yellow though!

    Re: Normal height vs Droped

I like the drop but don't like to idea of scaping anywhere. You should slow down and take all speed bumps and driveways at a 45 degree angle. Hopefully your suspension came with some wrenches that will allow you to adjust the height.

raise it up to 25" all round. in my old s4, speed bumps would kill me. the body would lay on the speed bump and drag across. it was on like 3" high too, lol.

Nice S Reich. I like the wheels and the chrome lips look great with the sport mirrors.

As for the ride hight I think you are going to extremes. Don't send back up to stock hight, just raise it about 1/2". You'll be amazed how much less scraping that will do.

What is your car riding on, coil overs or shocks/springs ? More importantly, what is your fender ride height ?

    Re: Normal height vs Droped

I feel your pain. My car has also always been dropped since I got it, and I also bottom out and scrape speed bumps constantly. The roads around where I live, (Denver) are pretty good so I just don't take the S where I know I will scrape or just park really far away in a parking lot in the rows before all the speed bumps.

    Re: Normal height vs Droped

I'm in the same boat as you, I bought the car with H&R springs and Bilstein struts and it's real low. MD roads are pretty good though, but steep driveways and high speed bumps I have to take at an angle and go slow. It's my second slammed car, so I'm good about NOT bottoming out. But I love the handling of the little lower/ little stiffer suspension.

You can see the scrapes underneath from the dips and driveways in the city, gotta love Baltimore.

    Re: Normal height vs Droped

^^^^^wow man thats uber low haha. i know what the rest of you guys are feeling with the potholes and all ive scratched the bottom of my bumper one too many times already. im running eibach springs with vogtland struts. luckily, i dont drive to distant places often and i've learned the roads around my area quite well so the problem is not as big anymore.

Wow, you guys are really making some sacrifices.

Why not just lower to 30mm? That's where I'm at, no scraping, ever.
