Tail lights always on?

Kinda weird thing I just noticed today, I noticed that my tail lights are always on, even if my headlight switch is turned off, its illuminated the same as if my headlights are on during the night. Just wondering if this was normal and if anyone else is in the same situation. May it be due to region coding?

If your car dones not have the xenon package, it is normal operation for your fogs, front markers and tail lights to be on when you turn you car on with the headlight posn at 0. That is your DRL. Hope this helps.

Ah, thats what I thought.. It was due to my fogs being DRL's.. thanks for the quick reply.
