price check on 2005.5 A4

sup guys, im looking to trade in my 2002 B6 A4 and the dealer just called me and say they have a lease turn in 2005.5, tell me if this is a good price:

2005.5 Audi A4 2.0T
Quattro
6MT
Red ext. / black int.
Certified pre-owned 4 yrs / 100k extended warranty
26,000 miles
convenience package (which i assumed included auto dim, leather, power passenger seat, home link, what else am i missing)
xenon head lights

he is quoting me $25,900. is that high or sounds reasonable? i scanned autotrader most of them seemed to go for high $24s, how much lower do you think i can negotiate?

you have room to fudge FOR SURE the pay off for that car was prob abour low 20's...It doesn't have the S-line package, I would almost sell my car (2007 S-line 6sp 28k miles) for that much....def negotiate....I would pay 24 tops for that car...

hah, i would pay that for a 6spd sline.
i looked up the difference between private party and suggested retail price on KBB: 21,690 vs 24,725. I think I should aim somewhere in the middle.

ALSO those early B7's has Fuel pump issues and Cam Shaft issues...try to make sure if those two items are taken care of.

Got him to 23,250....bring him down. Bring up the fact that the B8's are coming out and the value will decrease.

camshaft! is it safe to assume that warranty (extended or original) should cover either of these common issues?

i would love to get the car for under 24k. no harm trying right? worst he can say is no and i still have my B6.

got my 2006 with 26K miles on it, 6 Spd, quartz, etc. for $22,250 in Nov of 07. Seems like you should wait...

okay cool cool you guys gave me a lot of good information and strategy. i'm looking at pulling the trigger soon to get the 3.9% APR, but not worth it if the dealer wont come down in price.

also is there any big difference between 2005.5 and 2006? seemed like with my price range i could go with either or.

you will fursure need a new PVC valve haha, thats almost a guaranteed with a 05.5 or 06
i no cause i had a 06, its under warranty, and if its not, its 10 bucks

if it doesnt have the sport suspension, then tell your dealer that you have your heart set on an s-line and its gonna cost u a few grand to bring this one up to spec. tell him to sell u the car with that (~2k) difference.

Waaaay too high. I wouldn't pay more than $22k for that car. You can find an 06 s-line for the asking price of this car.
