A8 Wheels on my UK B5

Hi

Looking to fit some 18" A8 wheels to my 2000 B5, the A8 is the same year

I know they are both 5 x 112 but I dont know the offset for the A8 wheels. My car currently runs the standard 17" Ronal Bolero

It would be great if anyone has done this before or knows the offset for the A8 wheel

I will try and find a pic of the A8 wheels I am after, they are the chunky spoked ones, not the comp TT style of the common replica wheels.

If your talking about the monoblocks it has been done before, though I don't know the offset off hand.

No sorry its neither of those!

They are very rare wheels as far as I can tell, from an A8 Quattro of som kind, here is the only pic I can find, I have since found out that my standard wheels are ET42 and the A8's are ET48, they share the same stud pattern and centre bore so its just a case of spacers and get them pushed out a bit whilst I am at it. Just need to confirm the width now

my a8 wheels are et45 just like the facelift 16" sport wheels. the 18" swings are really really heavy.

the fronts have no spacer right now, and fit no rubbing with a 225/40 falken512 strecthed profile sidewall. a regular sidewall would def. rub the upright. i am going to put a 10/15 spacer up front and a 25 in the back.

This is confusing, need to know the off set of those 18's for sure before I start ordering stuff. At least I know the name of them now, thanks

nah those are non sport I think. The sport wheels look like miniature Rs4 wheels haha

oh, I was going by this so I guess it would be the pre-facelift sport wheel since I cant dissect charts apparently

Same design but on the A8 you can get them in an 18" in the UK anyway

if they are 8s they will go on with no spacers at et48 if they are 8.5 and 48 you will need a spacer

I have a set of monoblocks they are et48 8j didnt use spacers when i last had them on and it looked like this...

I cant see them being that much heavier than my standard wheels TBH
