Yeap and on the left side ,''driver side'' of your engine. I can see it, now engine is removed for stage3. Look's like a bitch to reach with the engine in place. Is it a common issue on those?

Unless his car is a UK (rhd), I'm pretty sure the crank sensor is on the DRIVER side of the trans bellhousing.

Your right. I don't know why i wrote it this way. It's still on the left side of your engine and yeah driver side. Any way. is it a comon issue on those? It look's like a hard reach sensor. You can see the sensor harness heat protection close to turbo. That gives you an idea of how hard it is to replace.

where can I get a new sensor (other than dealership)?

I'm thinking mine may be going bad... car starts fine in the mornings after sitting over night, but after it has been driven it takes a couple more turns for it to start up...
