I wouldn't drill through the Fire Wall... there are two possible points of entry into the engine bay that I know of:

    1. Through the wheel well on the lower back wall of driver side pedal area. You need to remove the lower dash molding to see this location. If you remove your front tire, look to the top right you will see the other side of this area that has two or three lines coming out and a bunch of spare spots. You cut one and run wire. This is how I ran my vacuum hose for my boost gauge. Then look to the left and you will see another hole into the engine bay. Very easy. You can see pictures on the Podi.ca website on how to install vacuum line for their podi.

    2. This one is further up in the dash, and comes out behind the ECU in the engine compartment. I haven't utilized this location but may be the best for running power to battery for an amp. If you go to the AWE website I think this access is how they run there vacuum line for their vent gauge pod.

    I hope that helps...
