    H&R Spring Part # Difference

    Hey guys,

Just want to know what the difference in part number is for some H&R Springs

    29368.2 vs 29368.0

    1st one is for 6cyl
    2nd one is for 4cyl

I'm wondering if it's only the spring rate difference?? Since the minimal difference in part number is the end #.

I ask because I picked up some springs off a B6 3.0 Quattro, seeing if it will fit on my B7 2.0T Quattro Avant

    Thanks!!!

Re: H&R Spring Part # Difference

the issue is the weight of the engine is significantly different. Therefore the ride might in fact be higher, but stiffer. A strange combination. Buy parts meant for your car, it works out better.

Re: H&R Spring Part # Difference

If its only a weight issue, if gone through the specs,...seems to be only about 100lb difference between the 2 cars... I'll get back to you guys when i have it installed...

Can't go wrong if it only cost me $100 for the springs/shocks combo =)

    Thanks
