Other than Koni, are there any other sport shocks out there for B6/B7 S4's? I can't seem to find any. I thought Bilstein had a set.

    Re: shocks

No others that I'm aware of either. Any reason why you are shying away from the Koni's?

No, just seeing what all the options are. I know everyone will just tell me to get coilovers, but I really don't see myself ever adjusting ride height and the Koni's are adjustable, although, I think I'll set it once at install and never touch it again.

I would do the same set-up as you, H&R springs with Koni shocks. How do you like it?

If you ever do this, I'd love to meet up and see it in person. I'm in the same boat as you where I'd never adjust them again once I get them right, so coilovers are unreasonably priced for my use. I just need to get rid of some of this awful looking wheel gap while evening out the wheel gap on all corners.

Ok. I'll let you know. Might be a while, though, since money is kinda tight. If only install wasn't so pricey.

Well, the ride can be a little bouncy at times on some roads but otherwise it feels really good and I'm very happy with it. I think I would have preferred the coilovers in terms of the overall ride, but I have no way to compare the shock/spring setup to coilovers since I've never had them on my car. I also went with Hotchkis Sways front and rear and I'm sure that also makes a difference. I have my Koni's on the Medium setting and it's stiff but not overly so.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: shocks

To those who put on H&R Springs (which lower about 1.2" front and 1" rear), did most people keep the stock shocks or go with new Koni Sports?

And, with the lowered ride height, do you find when you do aggressive twisty road driving, particularly going downhill, that the front clip hits the ground now, or scrapes, or does it stay high enough that it doesn't scrape on the front?

    Thanks.

    Re: shocks

I have Koni/H&R's sitting here also. I'll be installing them this weekend. I'm curious about the ride quality too.
