2008 NAV Update Disk, other than updated maps...

Does anyone know if there are any functional updates to the software/firmware???
Like the '07 NAV Update, there were a whole host of functional updates on top of map updates.
I was just wondering if it is worth getting this '08 update.

I already checked the AZ Telematics Forum and the NAVplus site and had no luck.
Any insight on this would be great.

I read on navplus that there ARE some functional updates. Most notable is that the AUX function has finally been implemented. And the video function has been entirely disabled. The TV option has been completely removed from nav screens. The video can be restored, but the AUX is disabled in the process. Seems as of right now, you can have only one or the other.

It seems that most people who upgrade are only doing so for the maps. They are reverting back to the previous software version after upgrading.

I believe that was already taken care of in a previous release.

So in other words, the Map Updates are really the only favorable changes...
All(?) other changes are video/aux related and really may not apply to non-video users.

There is also a change to the way the nav calculates routes. It really isn't much different at all.
