broken bolt, always at the end of an install

So I finally got my rear carriers off to put on some B6 S4 rears, and go to put the rear shock back. The second of those two bolts (13mm) at the top of the shock mount broke on me and about half of the bolt is in the hole. Can I just buy one of those extractor bits and drill it out?

Also, can anyone help me figure out what the part number is for that bolt? It can be see here:

about two thirds the way down with this text next to it:
"This rear setup makes removing the shock very easy..."

Too bad for me putting the shock BACK wasn't so easy

yeah, I either had the wrong torque spec or the wrench didn't click. I thought it would be easier to get access with the whole shock out, which shouldn't have been a big deal.

seriously, I don't know why the damn thing broke. It was tight, but not l like I was putting my back into it.

anyway, anyone know what kind of drill I'd need to get this thing out?

Try Sears, Tyler. I forget the brand name, but they have a screw/bolt extractor kit for about $20. Also seen it advertised on TV.

thanks Bill, I'll check it out. I hate looking at these purdy new brakes without being able to slam on them.

Re: broken bolt, always at the end of an install

Ok, got it out. In case anyone cares or runs into a similar situation here's the low down.

I drilled a pilot hole with a regular drill bit, but getting far enough to thread the reverse bit by hand was really painful. So I opted to make the pilot hole bigger, but the larger regular drill bit started to drill the bolt bit further in. Fortunately, there was nothing within a couple of inches behind this particular hole, so I just drilled it out forward the rest of the way. I could stick my finger through the hole where the shock goes, and pull out the bolt bit. In case anyone else breaks this bolt, this worked for me.
