Ok,

My car was hit by a drunk dude on the rear a couple of weeks back, I took advantage of the crash and bought some extras for the car so the paint will match...

As for now, I ordered:
-Oetty Front Bumper (original of course)
-Boser Hood
-S4 Rear
-CF Rear Spoiler
-Two new Magnaflow 14851 Mufflers
-S4 Front Brakes

The Oetty will take about two weeks to get here because they are on back order and so is the rear carbon fiber lip.

Now, I'm looking for some rims, but not expensive rims. As you can tell I allready spent some money and I'm a little low on budget for the rims. What wheels will you guys recommend? I was thinking of some 19" RS6 or USP painted Black.

A local shop is offering me USP wheels painted black, brand new with 4 new tires for $800...

btw, I got two Magnaflow 14851 mufflers for sale, one is pretty messed up and the other one is in Fair conditions... I'm goin' to sell them because as I already wrote, I bought two brand new.

btw, any one painted their exhaust black? like powder coat or something?

i haven't but peeps on here have. some powder/ceramic coated, and I think there are some that DIY with high heat paint. search and you'll find.

UPDATE...


It's been almost 2 months now since my car was in this accident and I want to keep you guys updated.

The car is going to be ready at the end of this week, but I won't have the Oetti mounted on the car becuase GMP performance had them in back order and it's supposed to arrive around Aug 15.

The car will end up with the following:

-Font Oetti Bumper
-S4 Rear Bumper
-Boser Hood
-Rear CF Spoiler
-Black Roof
-S4 Brakes


+ the "old mods": FMIC, Custom Exhaust w/14851 mufflers, Tinted tail lights, S4 headlights, Blacked out grills, H&R suspension... etc...

Today I just received my GTRS and yesterday my SPS 3 so I'm planning on having the car up and running for the end of this month (w/gtrs mounted too). I'm still waiting on my injectors and have to fabricate my custom TIP. Then have my ecu flash w/Revo and enjoy the final product... finally!

I will post up pics as soon as I get the car... even tho they will be without the Oetti because I can't keep the car at the body shop for the next two weeks because I start classes this week . When the oetti arrives I will have to take the car back to the body shop for final installation.

as soon as the car is out of the body shop I will snap some pics... about the videos, of course, I've been searching for GTRS videos and found really kind of useless videos, I will try to upload some good videos for those who are thinking of going this route have better knowledge of the setup.

update....

went today to the body shop and I have my roof allready painted black, finally... now they are ready to paint the rest of the car, this will be done on monday and my car will be out of the body shop to get the GTRS.

I'm still waiting on my Oetti front bumper so I will have the car on monday but will have to come back at the end of the month to install my bumper...

my trunk was the only part that had to be repaired (little scratch and a damaged clear coat) the rest of the car got new parts...

about the color... the roof is brilliant black and the car is the same color (amulet red). I will post more pics when I get the car on monday.

Another Update

This week was a crazy week at the body shop... the guys had problem with the paint tint they were going to use (they ran short of it) so they had to wait until Tuesday to paint my car.

i was thinking it would be sick to powder coat the exhaust black too! That sounds awesome. Especially on red or white :) But as far as the wheels you should get some CH's!

I was thinking the exact same thing... I'm going with black Magnas, 14851... I was thinking of going with doble dual tips but I don't want to cut my S4 Rear Bumper...

Went today to the body shop again...

The S4 is on, still need the rest of the parts to be mounted, any way, new pics are here...






Now, for the sad part of the visit to the body shop, a few years back I had a small collision and I had to repair my front left fender. Looks like the guys from the other shop I used to go to, used a cheap clear coat product and when yesterday the body shop removed the tape they strip off the clear coat from my other side of the car.... So now they had to repair that and repaint the hole side of the car... (the opposite side from the crash). Link to OLD Crash Topic, Pics on post #14

UPDATE

Car is finally out of the body shop, not for long, I have to get it back there at the end of the month when my Oetti front arrives. Meanwhile, I will be installing the GTRS and getting the FMIC to sit better in the front so the guys @ body shop don't have to trim the oetti.
