Lock Smith Unlocked Car, Now won't start???

My neighbor got locked out of her car so she had a locksmith come out and unlock it. Now the car wont start. What do I do?

Clear codes with vag com? (However I do not own a vag com) anyother way to clear them?

try this:

close the door. lock car with fob. unlock car with fob. try key.

You need to reset the alarm.....it's still thinking that you are trying to steal the car. Do what the person above me said and it should reset!
