unitronics stage 1+

Thinking about letting rayveedub install this for me on my B6. Any opinions or complaints?

Hardly anyone has this chip...havent seen one post about it other than to make aware that it exists.

I like it.

And its singular... Unitronic.

I find it very drivable and the delivery of power smooth but strong. It's not like it'll make up for a proper tune with a BT but for me it's the perfect solution to drive with while I save my pennies.

Overall it's comparable to my friend's stg1 GIAC tune on a 01.5 1.8tqm.

LOL dude. V8, S4, No FI. Chip has minimal gains compared to you turbo guys.. i think you thought he was talking about chipping a turbo car?

alright well seeing how hard it is to find a shop around here i think im just going to roll with it and see what i think. I'll keep you guys posted on my UNITRONIC stg 1+ lol.....wish me luck

I posted a thread on this tune awhile ago. I was very surprised with the chip it actually pulls much stronger, very smooth and no loss on the bottom end. I decided to keep it after the 30 days and I am very happy with the tune.

Oh well. Point served anyways, it's of high quality and not to be dismissed merely because it's not one of the so-called 'big three.'

So how did it go??? Rayveedub does good work and I travel from NY to his shop to have him do work for me... Definitely gonna have him do the unitronic chip on my RS4....

just got it done along with my snub mount and I am very happy with both. The chip needs a 75 mi. break in period and ray said that I am only getting 80% of the power increase until then and I am definitely already happy with it. Definitely has way better throttle response and pulls way harder esp in the higher rpm range. There is much more about this chip that makes it better than APR, GIAC and REVO. I would try to explain it but I think Rayveedub would do it much better if any of you are thinking about doing this tune. Oh and also there is no stage 1+ tune available for the S4 yet so I just got Stage 1 but am waiting to see if + becomes available I am definitely going to roll with it.
