tips or tricks on installing ER sidemounts???

i want to get these on tonight or tomorrow and was just wondering if any cutting or hacking will be involved? im sure its a tight fit, these things are huge compared to the stock ones. i'm not to concerned but would like to be aware of things people have done and maybe what tools i'll need on hand to make this go as easy as possible. thanx

I followed the AWE instructions and it turned out pretty good. Be careful to not put a hole in the intercooler with the bumper support screws(the T45 screws).

Best of luck on the passenger side getting in for the first time.

pasenger side is a bitch, but once you grind down that lip its fine.

It might be easier, but a little more work, to put the radiator support in the work mode (pull it out a bit). It's only a few extra bolts. LOL

Direct fit. Passenger a/c recever is a bitch to move away from intercoolers but not bad. don't forget to cut two bolts of your rad support to prevent doing holes in the front of intercoolers. Of course it was easy for me since i had no rad support in front --> doing stage3+. good luck

The key to avoiding too much cutting is to mount them with the IC tabs under the quarter panel tabs instead of on top so you don't have to cut away at the quarter panel like the AWEs. You will have to cut off the lower outboard thread insert on passenger side bumper support horn. Use the AC condensor relocation bracket. Their is a threaded hole that is perfect for it. You will have to drill out the old IC brackets. It's actually easier than it sounds.
