Well im shopping around for a new brake system and I notice in the description that I have to check the size of the rotor because there are 2 different ones. Anyone know how I can tell without actually measuring?? I have an 03' A6 2.7t

Best bet is just call the dealer, and give them your VIN#, can't go wrog there. I am not sure of the half year split, some have 16.7mm offsets and some have 22.7mm offsets. The rotor itself is most likely 321x30mm. But best bet is call the dealership, use the info and shop it.

    Good Luck

You need the option PR code for your brake system to know for sure.

My 2004 had the code 1LA on the trunk sticker. The sticker is also found in your warranty booklet as well on the inside of the front cover.

If you can, take a pic of it and post it up and I can tell you which one you have.

Since you have an '03, it is very likely that you also have the 1LA brake setup.
