    Shift Delay pissing me off......

On my 03' 2.7t I get a freakin delay when I shift from Park to Drive or from Drive to Reverse, or pretty much whenever I shit to another gear. Does anybody else have this problem if it even is a problem?? Could this be software or mechanical related? Its even worse when I shift and turn the wheel at the same time, for instance when im trying to make a u turn really fast, it takes longer for the car to get into gear, I hate it becaue it jerks alittle bit as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx...

if theres a delay between park and drive, and long delays between gears, sounds like your tranny is on its way out... i'd get the fluid replaced in it and see if that helps...

I got a new torque converter under warranty last month, but the shift delay has always been there since I bought the car about 1 year and a half ago. The car shifts very smooth and solid between gears, its just the changing from park and stuff that I hate.

Yeah I don't think that means the tranny is on the way out. It's kind of normal
