Right on, I learned that when I took a course on Dynamometers. They only can give you a general Idea of where your power is at. With that said Dynos have a correction factor that changes hp numbers to adjust for different areas and conditions. That calculation can be altered* to give out a higher max HP readings to please customers/dyno queens. Not knocking
your dyno you used, just saying it can be done. While saying I got (number) Hp is cool, the main goal with using a Dyno IMO is for tuning. To know that you made a gain in Hp and Trq comparing a base run and doing modifications whether it be parts or tweaking (timing/fuel trim) then comparing. We want usable power, Highest Max hp doesn't always matter. Low Range, Mid Range, High Range Bands of RPM, each car will be different depending on the parts they use and little things like port and polish, runner lengths. Timing the pulses of the exhaust gases for efficient turbine spooling. Designing intakes that can allow for "natural" supercharging effect, etc etc. Gotta love giant air pumps....
Anyways glad you got good numbers, Hope you get your GT setup running! GL and where are those roofrack pics?
Sorry for the long preachy post, correct me if I'm wrong
