Will I look ghetto?

I'm thinking of tinting my windows and a local shop carries Johnson Window Film. One of their film lines is call Flash and is a color tinted film. It's available in blue or silver. I was thinking about going with the 50% blue because I kind of like the look of the Mercedes that come stock with the blueish tinted windows. Now I'm leaning towards the 65% silver. What do you guys think? I don't think the traditional smoke tint looks that good on sprint blue cars.

Oh, and the website says only a 5 year warranty, but the shop says he offers lifetime warranty.

Have you weeded-out Huper Optik film? It is one of best films out there. 50% or 60% would look great on you car. Not to sure about color treated film. Then again, creativity can go a long way.

Have you weeded-out Huper Optik film? It is one of best films out there. 50% or 60% would look great on you car. Not to sure about color treated film. Then again, creativity can go a long way.

Huper Optik is a little too pricey for me at $500+ and the closest shop that carries it is like 1 1/2 hours away.

Like I said, I was thinking of the blue tint because I like the way some Mercedes look with the stock blue tinted windows.

Well, when you put it that way, I would have to agree. I just thought it might look better at the 50%, just a subtle hint of blue, not the ghetto look I was afraid of. Oh well.

i actually like it and johnson has some good quality stuff. The other blue tint that you see on ghettoed cars is not the johnson stuff. it's the cheap film and that looks ghetto.

I would not trust this pic. It looks as if it has been altered. Check out the back window, especially the left side. Look normal? You have one of the best colors Audi offers. I think a blue-ish tint would ruin that.

Alright, so nix that idea. I guess I'll just hold off on tint for now and get an RS4 grill instead.

I think the usual, charcoal/black, tint would look really good. Are you getting the black RS4 grill? Would go good with the charcoal/black tint job. Good luck.

Benz's look perfect! However, audi's do not with blue tint. I would do 40% MAX tint, anything darker looks ghetto limo style.

In my opinion, I think the smoke/charcoal color meshes really well with the sprint blue. Obviously I would say that because I did 3M 20% in front and 15% in rear. But, it really sets off the carbon accents of the dtm package. Now, if you don't have the dtm package, it would set of your tires (seems stupid, but it actually does give a sense of color to the car) and if you get an rs4 black optic grille, that will def pull it all together. just my 2 cents - if you want to go color, it be your ride and your taste. Just make sure you're happy with your decision

No, I'm thinking about getting the standard RS4 grill with the matte aluminum surround. It would match better with the car since the car does not have the titanium package.
