    ....im wondering because my friend is looking into buying a certain s4 but 1 of the mods is an ebay generic short shifter, but he has heard that the generic brands or mayb improper installation of one can cause future transmission problems?.....enlighten me so i can let him know.

    just get a jhm solid shifter. its money well-spent. i have b&m off of ebay and it's sort of gay

    thanks for the input....because my friend heard claims of these generic short shifters causing expensive trans. problems in the future...

    really? The B&M shifter is no good? I had one on a different car and it kicked ass. What's bad about it?

    the problem of this car is the shifter assembly, not the shifter.


    THE ONLY WAY TO GO is JHM.
