I love the visibility the setup provides. They are 35w 4300k in both cases and I got them from Autobahn Exotics. I did pay more than the ones you get on ebay but it is well worth it judging by the support that AE provides on their products. I am more than pleased to say the least.

I bought the optional warranty on them too

to AE for the transaction! Now back to blinding other drivers on the road

    more pics

    Christmas already?

it's not the size of the ballast that counts!

tidy fit (didnt feel like cutting out the bottom of the light, which is why the wire was routed that way)

    another angle

the fogs were done in a similar fashion, I simply notched it with a dremel to the point where I could get the wire fed through and easily close the cap. I lined the notch with rubber and smoothed out the edges so that it would not damage the wires over time.

what kind of signal bulb are you using in your ecodes? Is it the twist (Bayonnet) style? If so, how did you plug it into the stock prong (wedge) power setup?

I retro'd the US spec into the Ecodes. I dont know many that use the twist style. I used the wedge's in both of my ecode sets.

Then did you cut the grey wire to elimnate the amber from turning on with your headlights or are they single filament bulbs?

    Thanks!

Re: Retro'd some HIDs into my ecodes and got fogs also

How exactly did you retrofit the Kit into the B5 S4 foglights?
I have been thinking about this as I have 55W Ecode headlights but the crappy little H7's don't do much.
You must of hacked the back of the housing alot???
    Pictures would be great!

    Thanks

    Very nice.

Problem is, if you run into dense fog, your foglamps would be useless, as the returning white glare would blind you.

This is true.... but in southern California, we almost never have fog.

I have been in heavy fog once thus far in a local canyon and did not have any issues with glare. *shrug*

I had to modify the backing plate to the fog. I need to find more to modify before I can finish the install. I had one, but the person who gave it so me ended up needing it.
