Tuning/Upgrades For my Audi A4

I was wondering what upgrades and mods i could do for my A4 1.8t 03 model. I can spend about 300$ and was wondering what i can do for more power and torque, i love driving my A4, but i needs a little kick or something else to spice it up.

just wait until you have 5-600 and get a chip which will give you an hp gain of around 40hp

What is a test pipe? im really new to this, i was thinking exhaust tips? or would that be a waste?

For future reference- Your 2003 A4 falls under the B6 platform. I went ahead and moved your thread to the appropriate forum. You should get a much better response in here.

best bang would be to chip it. look into GIAC, Revo & APR. but that's $500. then exhaust. dont waste money on an air intake, stock intake is sufficient.

I don't live by a Dealer for those Giac chips, so how could i order a chip and then install it, doesn't it have to be installed by the dealer?

^^search for dealers by REVO, or APR go to their website and u'll find one, if not u have to remove ur ECU(computer) and send it to them and they'll send it back!

It is a re-flash of your ECU and you either go to a shop that does it or mail them your ECU... check sites like AWE.com (GIAC), ECS.com (APR).. and so many more...read throught the stickies in the Faqs/DIY section at the top of the B6 forum and you will get all the info you need on what you can do and approximate costs... $300 is not enough for enything except some supporting mods to software, turbos, and what not...
