Just bought a new gps and it came with a car charger, which I was curious how i would go about hardwiring it in. I really dont like looking at this huge charger in my cigarette lighter. Any help or diagram would be helpful and much appreciated. Will post pics after install. So far it looks awesome. I have it sitting where a podi would go and it looks great.

Go to the install bay at a local best buy or the like and ask them to sell you a female cig socket. From there you can wire that directly to an ignition source and ground.

Or best buy will charge you ~35 + parts to do it, which is what I recommend if you're not familiar with wiring or taking apart your car.
