When to change the clutch?

At what mileage would the clutch be in need of replacement? I have noticed some rough vibration just when pulling away from a standing stop. Feels like it is 3/4 the way up on the pedal. Smooth otherwise?

When it slips or prevents you from engaging gears or if you want to launch from 7 RPMs.

I have 127k on my stock clutch, its fine, but i want a stronger one. Just a preference.

Thanks, I have no slipping and don't launch from 7K. I better look for another source of the vibration then. I was just wondering if these clutches crapped out at any specific mileage, simular to what timing belts do.
