    Not sure, but remote start on a manual trans..not the best of ideas..

    free i did it myself. most shops will not install a RS on a manual, good luck finding one. If they do look at $250-300 install. If you were local id do it for $160 professionally installed.

    I had my Viper alarm installed with Remote start for $80. But the guy that did it for me works for my cousin's shop.

    On my 2000 S4, I paid near $650 to have my 1 mile range 2-way alarm/remote start/tt installed by a reputable shop(Sound of Tri-state). They gave me a rental car for the day so they could take their time and do it right, without me waiting.

    I've been back there once because I dropped the $150 remote in water, but they replaced it for free because they know that shit happens. I would recommend them if you want it done right.

    Furthermore, the only thing I notice different is the clutch bypass during startup. The system is idiot proof, and safe. I wouldn't have gotten it if it were to be a rig-job.
