I believe this has been discussed here when the V2 intake first came out.
Here's the reason for things not fitting correctly. It's all about where the MAF is positioned in the engine bay. With the Carbonio V2 intake, the MAF now sits slightly more towards the firewall than it did when it was connected to the OEM airbox. Because of the positioning, it throws off the turbo inlet pipe (which are designed to fit with the MAF in the OEM position).
Now with Carbonio, you're causing the inlet pipe to stretch to a position that's not really designed to reach (due to the molding/forming of the pipe). The result is that the pipe will want to move back to it's original form and cause the CF lid to sit crooked.
There is a solution. You can get an inlet pipe extension (also known as a transition hose). By adding the extension, the pipe can now reach the MAF without stretching and allow the CF lid to remain flush against the firewall. I've had to do this for my setup (I have the Neuspeed XTreme TIP).
