Just drove 17hrs non stop, now shaky idle.

I left NJ at 930am Saturday morning and arrived at my new house in Palm Beach County, FL at 230am.

The trip was 1200 miles, I only had to stop 3 times for gas, was getting close to 500 miles/tank even with a car packed full of tools and clothes, 2 people, my cat and the AC on the entire time. I never turned the car off once, I left it running when I refueled and jumped back in and went on my way.

I stopped for gas after passing Jacksonville, FL for my final fill up and I noticed it was idling a little rough.

The RPMs stay steady and aren't bouncing or moving at idle but I can feel it ever so slightly through the pedals and steering wheel. It drives just fine, no problems on the road but I don't like that light uneasiness of the idle.

Any suggestions. I'm assuming spark plugs. I've been the owner for the last 20k miles and have done regular oil changes and changed the fuel filter about 2 months ago.

I'm gunna change the plugs next oil change which is ASAP, can anyone suggest anything else it could be or I should look into doing while I'm doing my next oil and plug change?

I'd just take it out for a few redline runs and call it a day man. You drove so much at low RPMs so there will be some carbon built up. That was a good time to use 93 octane and some fuel treatment.

It may have had something to do with the fact that you fueled you car while it was running?

Check for boost leaks at your check valves - the check valve right behind the engine in particular. It might be a very small boost leak that shows itself at idle, but not when you are driving.

Same problem when i drove from washington to texas and back, then recently drove to oregon. not your oil or spark plugs i changed mine right before the drive to oregon. It probably has to do with a small leak somewhere, possibly carbon build up but i ran the shit out of the car in northern oregon in the mountains both ways. The car gives a slight tug when idling, like it feels right before youre about to stall, but not as harsh. Only notice it with feet on the pedals and lightly through the seat. I'm gettin down and dirty with it this weekend i'll let you know what i find if you dont find anymore out

Yea the car was pretty much around 3k rpm the whole trip. About 85 on cruise and I was using 93 octane the whole trip, that's all I ever put in my car actually.

Also I always fuel my car when it's running so that wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

Edit: Also under User CP there is no Edit Profile option. Seems like that is disabled or missing or something to that effect.

You really are not supposed to fuel your car when it is running.....Ever read the "no smoking and turn your engine off" signs?

I am surprised you have never thrown a evap code....

+1 on the carbon buildup and most likely spark plugs....pull them out and check the gap on them!
