    HID kit question...

    Okay, so i just bought Audi OEM VALEO Euro A4 S4 headlamps headlights B5 E code style.








    I want to buy a HID kit for these.

    What is a good company that sells HID kits?
    ...and what size bulbs do i need??

    dont the S4 headlights come with Stock HID's???


    i have a 99 A4 and got mine at www.vvme.com theirs are pretty good i havent had any trouble and the bulb for my car is a H7. i got a 6000k hid kit from them

    i like it so far no problems what so ever and it was like 43 bucks plus shipping so is not that bad.

    Most of the guys here recommended me to that site so yea is ok

    Many go with vvme because of the price. It is $80 shipped. But you will have to find a place to mount the ballast because it is kind of large and will not fit under the headlight housing that has a spot designated for the HID kits (correction, there is a DIY where you can dremel off a piece of the surrounding to make it fit). I do not have HID myself as I will not get that till I get real Valeo ecodes, and this is the one that is in the B5 A4 Noob Guide Sticky. The one I plan on getting. Of course, there are always the higher priced ones, which you know you are getting durability. Yet not sure if any can agree with spending $300+ on an HID kit when one for $80 can do the same thing unless they had the extra dough to spend.

    Flip those headlight housing over and see if there is a big rectangular hole. If there is then you need S4 or B6 ballasts to seal them up. Otherwise you can use just about any ballast.

    if its got the hole in the bottom use the OEM please
