With an upcoming home purchase, the time has come to say goodbye to one of my toys. Need to move it quick, so I'm asking $9750 for it.
Car is pretty much stock aside from an RS4 clutch, 710N diverter valves, and piggie pipes. Car is located in Houston, TX. You can PM me or email me at [email protected].
I would love to keep this car and mod the heck out of it. It was my first S4, purchased in 2004, so it will be hard seeing it go. I haven't driven it nearly as much as I should have since getting my silver stage 3 S4, however. I am more excited about working on the new house as well, so it's time for it to move on. This would make a great project car for somebody, if not simply a stock daily driver.
Details:
2001.5 Audi S4 sedan, ~107K miles, mostly highway.
Brilliant Black exterior, ebony leather interior.
6-speed manual transmission, equipped with OEM RS4 clutch (installed at 55K, holding strong).
Still on original K03 turbos. Some whine during warmup, but afterward they are fine. I strongly advise any potential buyers to have a turbo replacement fund available, since K03s are not known for reliability past 100K.
Maintenance:
All-new front control arms and tierods installed at 98K.
All brake rotors and pads replaced at 100K.
034 Motorsports Street Density transmission mounts installed at 103K.
Timing belt and water pump replaced at 65K.
All front CV joint boots have been replaced since 90K.
New alternator installed at 98K.
Engine has seen nothing but Mobil1 0W-40 synthetic every 3-4 thousand miles.
The bad:
Some scrapes and dents on the rear bumper and trunk lid from being tapped by a truck in the rain 3 years ago. Nothing serious, otherwise I would've already fixed it. Good excuse to get a euro S4 rear bumper and trunk lid.
Hood has quite a few rock chips.
Passenger side foglight is cracked.
The bad, but will be fixed by time of sale:
Shifter surround and center dash trim piece need to be painted to match the rest of the interior trim (piano black).
Rear view mirror is loose.
Center dash cupholder is broken.
Needs an alignment.
The good:
Every body panel aside from the trunk lid is straight and flawless. Not a single door ding.
Tires are good on tread and do not need replacing anytime soon.
Interior leather is in great shape, no tearing anywhere.
Here are a few exterior pics to start off. I'll get some more up later.
