I'll be there. the cruise will be just that, a cruise. They frown upon more spirited driving. Should ~40 Audis and VWs by what their site shows as RSVPd.

The summer solstice is the weekend of June 21st. So why not celebrate the longest day of the year with a barbeque and nice and calm drive through the foothills of Colorado.


Autobahn Premiere will be hosting the BBQ starting at 6:00pm a the Bear Creek Greebelt. This park is on 340 acres of open space surrounding Bear Creek, located roughly between Wadsworth and Kipling along Yale Boulevard. A beatuiful place in Lakewood to enjoy the out of doors, the park features include:

• Walking paths
• Equestrian trails
• Ponds
• Covered picnic areas
• Bike path
• Picnic Shelter
• Horseshoe Pits

The Greenbelt is home to a variety of wildlife including migratory birds. When visiting the Greenbelt some of the animals you might encounter include, beavers, coyotes, kingfishers, hummingbirds, and a variety of waterfowl such as hooded mergansers, buffleheads, and ringnecks.

For the BBQ, please bring your food and drink (*NO ALCOHOL*), plus a lil extra for the guy next to you.



Now, time for the drive!!! Starting at 10:00pm, join MetroDubs.com and all the great driving machines in Colorado for a nice leisurely drive through the foothills just West of Denver. THE ROUTE IS STILL BEING PLANNED DUE TO THE LAST MINUTE CHANGE IN THE VENUE. Please do not worry, the drive will be fun, safe and calm so everyone of all driving skills will feel safe

Take Wadsworth south to Yale Turn west (right) onto Yale.
then turn left onto Estes, the parking lot is on the left hand side

FROM 285!
Take Wadsworth North exit
Turn left (west) on to Yale.
then turn left onto Estes, the parking lot is on the left hand side

it was a great time.
thank you for everyone that showed up. close to 100 cars in the parking lot. 10:05 pm 30 more cars showed up. the colorado Mazda Club showed and some great cars from the Avalon Camp.

Lakewood police were awesome in closing the road so we could all get out of the parking lot as one mass of cars.

17 cops were passed on the way

1 audi got pulled for expired tags

29 cars finished the drive.
