Pics of RS4 grill w/ chrome trim ???

I am currently looking in to adding an RS4 grill but want to keep the stock chrome trim front my s-line grill to keep matching the window trim. I know its been done, but I really would like to see how it looks. Anyone have pics? Would really appreciate it...

Yes, it can be done. You need a flathead screwdriver (preferably a small head with a long handle), a fork, some crisco & some elbow grease (j/k on the last 2 items). On the backside, there are several tabs that must be pushed. Its a little tedious a first, but once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy. Swap trims, and snap back. I haven't put the grill on my car yet (6/21), but here are pics of the grill alone.

Looks like thats what the above poster has done. Swapped his polished trim onto the RS4 grille. As long as the OP has a s-line grille to start with, he should be able to do the same thing djvice did.

thats exactly what i want, is an rs4 grille with the chrome trim (my car is silver and the chrome accents all over the car look good on silver imo)

i have non-sline.. from my understanding these rs4 grilles WONT fit on a non-sline... why is that??? any way around this?? or am i wrong and these grills WILL fit???

sorry if its a dumb question, but im VERY new to audi (like 2 weeks new)

In 2006 & 2007, all A4s had the "standard" front bumper, but you could pay extra and get the S-line option which would give you a more aggressive front bumper. In 08, all cars have the exterior. The s-line grill is a bit longer (bottom comes closer to the floor), so the RS4 / S-line grill WILL NOT fit the standard bumper.

They made a grill that is an RS4 look-alike made to fit non-slines (and I say "look-alike" because the honeycomb pattern is not the same as the Audi/VW honeycomb). Check it out on a silver car: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=210811

yeah i have seen her car before.. i think it looks great, BUT, i dont want a euro plate.. i just want it to look clean in the front.. looks like im just going to keep my stock grille.. blah, i really wish i could have found an sline, they seem to be MUCH easier to mod.. and i dont really care for the one from etatuning, only because i want to keep my chrome trim around the grill and if i did that to the one on etatuning, it just looks like the stock one..

i really wish i could find a good looking rs4 grille, put my chrome trim on it, with no euro plate.. perfect, but it doesnt really exist

You CAN fit a rs4 grill on your non s line bumper. It's been done, but it takes some cutting to make the grill fit in the opening. It's possible though.

I believe Quattro has done it, if you search for his name.

man, i have been holding out, because i want to do the same thing! that looks hot. I wasnt crazy about the brushed look with everything else polished. I think it will look awesome my black s-line. thanks for the info

If you dont have an S-line grille, then get the Oetinger front grille. That thing is bad ass and fits the non S-line bumper.

i saw a pic of it.. and it didnt have audi rings on it??? am i seeing something wrong??

also, the trim on the outside of the grill looks a little slim.. do u have any idea of it would be possible to swap a chrome trim on it
