B6 S4 Climate Control Problem - Please Help

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hello Everyone,

    I have a 2004 S4 with 83,000 miles on it.

Two days ago my ac suddenly quit blowing cold air; it was ice cold on the way to my friends house (always has been ice cold since I got it), I left an hour later and I only get warm air out of the vents now. All of my fuses are good, no cel or pending codes. The ac pipes under the hood are not cold like they would be if the system was working correctly.

My guess is something electrical, unless somehow the compressor suddenly failed or a major leak (which I probably would have heard, since it went from working perfectly to only warm/hot air after sitting for about an hour).

Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong? Has anyone had a problem like this before with their Audi? Any help would be greatly appreciated, it will be 100+ degrees here within a week or two. Dealership will charge $200 just to check it out.

    Nick
